What To Expect

Day 1

Arrival Amman Airport - Amman Overnight.

Upon arrival at Queen Alia Airport, our representative will meet you with welcome signage of your name after you exit customs. Transfer about 30 minutes to the Amman hotel, check-in, and the remainder of the day is free.

Day 2

Amman - Ajloun Castle - Jerash - Amman Overnight.

Ajlun Castle (Qala'at ar-Rabad)

In the morning we drive two hours from Amman to Ajloun Castle, the medieval name Qalʻat ar-Rabad, which is a 12th-century Muslim castle situated in northwestern Jordan. It is placed on a hilltop belonging to the Mount Ajloun district, also known as Jabal 'Auf after a Bedouin tribe that had captured the area in the 12th century

Jerash Ruins

Head to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Visit the spectacular forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum, and the Temple of Artemis. Next stop is Ajloun the great 12th century Islamic castle built around 1184/85 by the famous Islamic leader Salah al-Din.

Day 3

Amman - Madaba - Mt Nebo - Dead Sea - Petra Overnight.

After breakfast we drive to Madaba, to see the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George's church. We head to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the promised land before he died. You visit the old monastery and overlook the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and parts of the Holy Land. Then onto the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea, where you have leisure time and the chance to float on water. Continue to the hotel in Petra, check-in, and overnight.

Day 4

Petra Full Day Visit - Amman Overnight.

Petra

Today visit the red rose city of Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire. You can start the trip on horseback or by foot to the canyon, the so-called Siq, and then walk to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury, to the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh's Castle. Free time on your own, in the afternoon return to the hotel in Amman for check-in, overnight.

Day 5

Amman - Departure Amman Airport.

Your trip will come to an end today after breakfast. Check-out time is usually around noon, and you are free to leave at any time and drive directly to the Airport. Time to say Goodbye.
